You can expect to enter a safe space. It is of the utmost importance to me that you experience an environment that feels genuine, provides unconditional support and empathy, and is free of judgement. 


Procedure/
Process

We will begin by having a brief phone consultation (e-mail or text is also an option if preferred) to discuss your needs and to set up your intake session. During your intake session, we will fully discuss your history/background information, along with present issues and concerns, so I can begin to develop an understanding of your needs and therapeutic goals.  At the end of your intake session, we will schedule your first therapy session. I am currently providing virtual sessions through Google Duo video.

An individualized treatment plan is created for each client using a variety of therapeutic modalities, techniques, and strategies such as cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, mindfulness, calming techniques, psycho-education, narrative therapy, and art therapy to encourage a sense of self-empowerment, self-value, and self-efficacy.
